Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Eat Like This. By using our app or website, you agree to these terms.

Introduction and acceptance

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and HealthTech Labs OÜ (registry code 17428736), operating as Eat Like This ("we", "us", "our"). They apply to your use of the Eat Like This mobile application, our website at eatlikethis.app, and any related services we operate (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account, downloading the app, or using any part of the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Eat Like This. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If we learn that a user is under 16, we will terminate their account and delete their data promptly.

Your account

To use the Service, you must create an account using an email address or a third-party sign-in provider (Apple or Google). You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your login credentials secure and confidential
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Providing accurate and up-to-date profile information

Each person may maintain only one account. If we detect duplicate or fraudulent accounts, we may suspend or terminate them.

The service

Eat Like This is a personalized meal planning app. We provide:

  • Personalized 7-day meal plans based on your dietary preferences, goals, and body profile
  • Adaptive replanning when you eat something off-plan
  • Auto-generated grocery lists
  • Weekly check-ins with progress insights
  • An AI-powered nutrition assistant (subject to separate consent)

All recipes are reviewed by registered nutrition professionals. However, the Service provides general nutritional guidance and is not a substitute for professional medical or dietary advice. See the Health Disclaimer section below.

Subscriptions and billing

Free trial. We may offer a free trial period for new users. The duration and terms of the trial will be stated at sign-up. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin and you will be charged.

Subscription plans. Eat Like This is available as a paid subscription, offered on monthly and annual billing cycles. Pricing is displayed in the app and may vary by region.

Payment processing. All payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not collect or store your payment card details. Your purchase is subject to the terms and policies of the respective app store.

Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel. You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal through your device's app store settings.

Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will retain access until then.

Refunds. Refund requests are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store in accordance with their respective refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.

Price changes. We may change subscription pricing from time to time. If we increase the price, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance. The new price will apply at your next renewal date. If you do not agree to the new pricing, you may cancel before it takes effect.

AI-powered features

Certain features of the Service use third-party artificial intelligence models to process your data. These features include the AI nutrition assistant, meal photo estimation, voice transcription, and check-in insights.

Consent required. AI-powered features are only activated after you provide explicit consent within the app. You can withdraw this consent at any time from your app settings, which will disable AI features. The core meal planning service remains available without AI consent.

Data processing. When you use AI features, relevant data (such as text messages, meal photos, voice recordings, and meal plan context) may be sent to third-party AI service providers for processing. For details on what data is shared and with whom, see our Privacy Policy.

No guarantee of accuracy. AI-generated content — including nutritional estimates, meal suggestions, and check-in insights — is provided for informational purposes only. It may contain errors or inaccuracies. Do not rely on AI output as a substitute for professional nutritional or medical advice.

User conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Share your account credentials with others or allow unauthorized access
  • Submit false, misleading, or harmful content through the AI chat or other input features
  • Use the Service in a way that could harm other users or third parties

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Intellectual property

The Eat Like This app, website, recipes, content, designs, and underlying technology are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our written permission.

You retain ownership of your personal data, photos, and any content you submit through the Service. By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to use it solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.

Health disclaimer

Eat Like This is not a medical service. The meal plans, nutritional information, AI-generated insights, and other content provided through the Service are for general informational purposes only. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

You should consult a qualified healthcare professional before making significant changes to your diet, especially if you have a medical condition, food allergies, an eating disorder, or are pregnant or nursing.

While our recipes are reviewed by registered nutrition professionals, individual nutritional needs vary. We do not guarantee that following our meal plans will produce any specific health outcome.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to damages related to health outcomes, data loss, or service interruptions.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or 100 EUR, whichever is greater.

Termination

By you. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from the app settings. If you have an active subscription, you must also cancel it through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to avoid further charges.

By us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we are required to do so by law. We will provide reasonable notice where possible.

Effect of termination. Upon account deletion, we will remove your personal data in accordance with the retention schedule described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when these Terms were most recently revised.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Estonia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Estonia.

If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area, you also retain the protection of any mandatory provisions of the consumer protection laws of your country of residence. Nothing in these Terms affects your rights as a consumer under applicable law.

Dispute resolution

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may submit a complaint through the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Our email address for ODR purposes is jackie@nutrish.ai.
